In search of a new Instagram
We have never taken many photos. But how do we use them? During the
show, many start-ups attempt to answer this question. Among them,
French Girls, whose app transforms selfies into drawings. It has been
downloaded 750,000 times since the launch in January. "We want to
build a real community around this type of artistic expression," says
the founder, Adam Ceresko.
Nearby, Yukio Uematsu, founder of YST Labo, presented an application
which allows cutting photos, combining them, and recognising outlines,
using only touch, on a telephone or a tablet.
Two French people Etienne Leroy and Aymeric Vigneras, based in Boston,
launched Sharalike two months ago. [ I don't think this is translated correctly.] "This is sent in
HTML5, which makes the process very easy and light," says Etienne
Leroy.
An alternative to Magisto, another start-up presented during the show,
which makes small films from your library.
